Age : Born not before 01-09-1972 .The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates working in Government/PSUs.
Educational Qualification : Graduate from recognized University/ Institute or recognized equivalent degree.
Professional Qualification : Should have done 6 months Sub Officers Fire Service Course from National Fire Service College (NFSC) : Nagpur Or should posses minimum 6 months Diploma/Certificate in fire safety and Security Management recognized by the State or technical Board of Technical Education. Candidates should also have hands-on experience in computers
Experience (as on 01-10-2007) : Minimum 3 years (as Station In-charge of a fire station or Fire-cum-Safety Officer of any Govt. or Private Enterprise).
Physical Standards : Ht. – minimum 165 cms., Wt. - Minimum 50 kg., Chest – Normal 81 cms. & expanded 86 cms.
Medical standards : Candidates should be in sound health and free from squint and colour blindness. No relaxation in health standards should be allowed.

B. EXPERIENCE : Two years’ practical experience in Software Development or Software Quality Assurance. DESIRABLE : Knowledge of German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese Language. DUTIES : Preparation of specifications and vetting of documents pertaining to procurement of items/stores. Technical evaluation, testing, inspection and quality assurance activities of equipments, system/sub-systems and stores indented by the services pertaining to the relevant discipline. Creation of test facilities as per various laid down standards/specifications. Value engineering studies of items/stores. ANY OTHER CONDITION : Any officer appointed to the services, if so required, shall be liable to serve as a commissioned officer in the Armed Forces for a period of not less than four years including the period spent on training, if any : Provided that such officer :- a) Shall not be required to serve as aforesaid after the expiry of ten years from the date of appointment to the service or from the date of his joining prior to the initial constitution of the service, and b) shall not ordinarily be required to serve as aforesaid if he has attained the age of forty years.

AT JIPMER, PUDUCHERRY, MINISTRY OF HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE, DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, CENTRAL HEALTH SERVICE(TEACHING SPECIALIST SUB-CADRE). Out of two posts, one post is reserved for OBC candidates. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule(other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part –II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section(3) of Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956 ii) Post –graduate degree in the concerned super-speciality i.e., M.Ch(Cardio-Thoracic Surgery)/M.Ch(Thoracic Surgery) OR Speciality Board of Thoracic Surgery(USA) or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Three years’ teaching experience as Tutor / Demonstrator / Registrar / Senior Resident in the concerned Super-Speciality in a recognized medical College/Institution after obtaining the first post graduate degree qualification. NOTE : I : The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the MCI. NOTE : II : In so far as post graduate medical qualifications awarded by Indian Universities are concerned, they should also find a place in the Schedules to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, as amended from time to time. NOTE : III : Teaching experience in any other post like the posts of General Duty Medical Officer/Medical Officer shall not be considered for eligibility purpose for recruitment to teaching posts. NOTE : IV : Holders of Speciality Board of USA qualifications should complete the entire requirements of the Board concerned. NOTE : V : In the case of qualification in Super-Speciality(M.Ch/D.M) except in the case of holders of D.M./M.Ch of five years duration, the holders should have obtained M.D.(General Medicine) or M.S.(General Surgery) or an equivalent qualification as prescribed by the said Council in its recommendations on Post- graduate medical examination. NOTE : VI : In the case of holder of D.M./M.Ch qualification of five years duration, the period of Senior Post - graduate residency rendered in the last part of the said D.M./M.Ch shall be counted towards requirement of experience. DUTIES : To impart theoretical and practical Instructions to under-graduate/post-graduate medical students. To conduct and guide research work in the speciality. To render patient care in the speciality. HQ : JIPMER, Puducherry but liable to serve anywhere in India. ANY OTHER CONDITIONS : (A) Private practice of any kind whatsoever shall not be allowed including any consultation and laboratory practice. (B) The candidates selected shall, if so required, be liable to serve in any Defence Service, or post connected with the Defence of India for a period of not less than four years including the period spent on training, if any, provided that : i) He/she shall not be required to serve as aforesaid. after the expiry of 10 years from the date of appointment to the service or from the date of his/her joining the service. ii)He/she shall not ordinarily be required to serve as aforesaid after obtaining the age of 45 years.

10. MANAGER (Technical)
Educational Qualifications Essential : Degree in Civil Engineering from a
reputed Institution of Technology or a recognized University.
Desirable : Post Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering in the field(s) relating to
Highway Engineering and or Post Graduate Degree in Management/MBA from an
Institute of repute.
Experience : (a) Candidates already on the panel of Under Secretary in the
Government of India and possessing the educational qualifications stipulated
above, or from candidates holding analogous posts in a Central /State Government
Department, Autonomous Body/Public Sector Undertaking or with 3 years regular
service in the scale of Rs. 8000-13500 or 6 years in the scale of Rs. 6500-10500/-;
(b) Should have put in at least 3 years service in a responsible senior position in a
Government Department/Public Sector undertaking/Commercial organization of
repute and should be working in a analogous post or the post next below or
equivalent for at least 3 years on a regular basis.
Desirable : Should be well versed in the field of highway/bridge enginerring/dealing
with planning, pre-qualification of consultants and contractors; financial appraisal of
projects; detailed desiging, techno financial reviews; evaluation of tenders, contract
management , monitoring, liaison with major construction agencies./Government
bodies, performance appraisal of major highways/bridge projects.
11. MANAGER (Media Relations)
Educational Qualifications : Degree from a recognized university.
Experience : (a) Should be holding an analogous post or with atleast 03 years
regular service in the post with the pay scale of Rs.8000-13500/- or with 06 years
regular service in the post with the pay scale of Rs.6500-10500/- or equivalent; AND
(b) 03 years experience in Media Relations.
12. MANAGER (Horticulture)
Educational Qualifications : (a) Degree of a recognized University with
Horticulture as a subject.
Experience : (a) Should be holding analogous post or on the panel of Under
Secretary to the Govt. of India or holding a post in the next below level for at least 03
years on regular basis. (b) 05 years experience in the area of horticulture in a
State/Central department/PSUs.
13. SENIOR ACCOUNTS OFFICER
Educational Qualifications : (a) Degree of a recognized University. (b)

Accountants of India or the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India or SAS
Exam of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service or equivalent examination of other
organized Accounts Service in the Central Government.

Educational Qualifications : Master's degree of a recognized University or

For Non-Executive Posts: Should have represented as a member of Jr./Sr. team in prestigious international tournaments. Such person must have also medal winning performance in national Championship. OR
Should have represented zonal team within the country and obtained at least 3rd position in inter Zonal Championship. OR
Should have represented a State in National Championships in Jr./Sr. Section and obtained at least 3 position in individuals or 4th position in team event. OR
