Combined Graduate Level (
Preliminary ) Examination i.e. Tier I examination paper consists of Part
A covers General Awareness & General Intelligence and Part B is for
Arithmetic. Combined Graduate Level (Main) Examination i.e. Tier II
examination paper consists of 6 papers i.e. General Studies (General
Intelligence &Reasoning Ability and General Awareness), English
language, Arithmetic, Language Comprehension (English), Communication
skills / Writing Ability and Hindi. For Tier III i.e. Personality test
and interview, candidates need to concentrate on General English,
General studies and arithmetic.

Age Limit: (i) 18-27 years as on for Inspector of Income Tax/
Inspector (Central Excise)/ Inspector (Preventive Officer)/ Inspector
(Examiner)/ Inspector of Posts / Ass.. Enforcement Officer and
Divisional Accountants / Auditors /UDCs/ Tax Assistants (ii) 20 to 27
years as on for posts of Assistants and Sub-inspectors in CBI. (iii) 26
years for Statistical Investigators Gr.II. Usual age relaxation to
SC/ST/OBC/PH/ExS etc. as per Govt. orders.)
Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from any
recognised University. (ii) Statistics/ Mathematics / Economics /
Commerce subjects in Graduation for the post of Statistical Investigator
Gr.II (iii) Bachelor's Degree with Economics or Statistics or
Mathematics as compulsory of Elective subject. For the posts of
Assistants (CSS), Computer Proficiency has been prescribed as an
essential qualification.
Fee: Rs. 100/-. No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women and Ex-Serviceman. Fee will be paid only in the form of "
Central Recruitment Fee Stamps (CRFS)"
These stamps are available at the counter of all Departmental Post
Offices of the country. For the candidates who are applying online,
should pay in the branches of SBI through payment challans which can be
printed online.
Closing Date: Last date for filling of the offline application is
14/02/2014 (5PM) extended up to 24/02/2014, last date is 03/03/2014 for candidates from far-flung areas.
