(5) Emoluments and Other Benefits on completion of training period:

Note:
i) Application must be accompanied by the prescribed examination fees and processing charges through Challan.
ii) Candidate has to approach any nearby SBI Branch with a print out of Challan and deposit the fees for proper crediting of amount in the allocated account.
iii) The fee has to be deposited in a specially opened Account No: “Power Jyoti” -31932241266 of SBI, Burnpur.
iv) On receipt of amount, concerned branch of SBI will issue a Journal Number.
v) Journal Number is then required to be filled up by the candidates during online registration.
vi) Candidate may also note that a certain amount will be paid by him as Bank Charges to the collection branch of SBI in addition to the applicable examination fee/processing charges.
vii) Applications submitted without examination fee/processing charges are liable to be rejected.
viii) No other financial instrument except Challan will be accepted and in case any other instrument is submitted, the application shall be rejected.
Selection Procedure :
Written Test, Interview, and Medical Examination.
Note: The management however reserves the right not to hold written test in case sufficient eligible applications are not received for the posts advertised.

2. Before registering the application on the website, the candidate should possess:

b) Scanned passport size colour photo and signature.
3. The online registration would be open from 21.05.12 to 21.06.12
4. All information regarding examination schedule / admit card / interviews etc. shall be provided through Speed Post / Registered Post / e-mail

(8) General Conditions:
a) Candidates not satisfying the requisite eligibility criteria specified in the advertisement need not apply
b) Candidates will have to appear for the written test and medical examination at their own cost in the event the management decides to conduct written test depending upon the number of applications received.
c) The date, time and venue of written test and interviews will be intimated in due course to all the eligible candidates only. ISP reserves the right to alter the choice of centre given by the candidate without prior information. No request for change of centre would be admissible and the decision of ISP would be final in this regard.
d) Candidates sponsored by the Local Employment Exchange will also have to apply on line in the prescribed application format along with the requisite fees as indicated in the advertisement failing which they will not be considered for the selection process.
e) Candidates paying the requisite fee and fulfilling the requisite eligibility criteria will be called for the written test.
f) Appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their passing the Company’s Medical Examination as per standards laid down under SAIL’s Medical and Health Policy.
g) If it is found any stage of selection process that the candidate is not fulfilling the eligibility conditions or has given false information his candidature will be rejected forthwith.
h) Candidates working Government/ Semi Government / Public undertakings will have to produce ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present employer at the time of interview.
i) The candidates will be required to submit documentary proof of qualification, age etc. at the time of interview. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category will also have to submit original caste certificate issued by the prescribed authority at the time of interview for verification.
j) Candidates should give clear and complete postal address, mobile numbers and e-mail ID for correspondence IISCO Steel Plant will not be responsible for any postal delay/ wrong delivery / non-delivery of any communication at any stage of the recruitment process.

l) All the certificates related to qualification should be issued by the recognised board/ institute and wherever cumulative grade point average (CGPA) / overall grade average or a letter grade in degree is awarded equal percentage of marks should be indicated in the application ( on line )
m) Bringing influence at any stage of the selection process will disqualify the candidate.

IISCO STEEL PLANT, a unit of STEEL AUTHORITY OF INDIA LIMITED, invites applications from competent personnel for recruitment to the posts of Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee), Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) (Crane operation), Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee) and Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operation) at Burnpur.
The eligible candidates should possess matriculation with ITI in the specified trades or Diploma in Engineering in specified disciplines from a Government Recognised Institute for the posts of Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) and Operator-cum-Technician (Trainee).
For the posts of Attendant-cum-Technician (Trainee) (Crane operation) the eligible candidates should possess matriculation with ITI from Govt. Recognised Institution and should desirably have experience of minimum one year in Operation of EOT cranes of more than or equal to 100 Tonnes capacity.
The eligible candidates for the posts of Operator-cum-Technician (Boiler Operation) should possess Diploma in Engg. from Govt. / Recognised Institution with 2nd Class or 1st Class Certificate of Boiler Competency.
The details such as number of vacancies, age, qualification, scale of pay, etc., will be published in ‘Employment News’ on 26/05/2012 and will be available in the SAIL website www.sail.co.in from 21/05/2012.
