2.Application form should be supported with Xerox copies (duly attested) of educational qualification certificates,Birth certificates (in case educational certificates does not include the same). Recent passport size photograph should be pasted and attested by a Gazetted Officer.

3. Last Date of Receipt of Application :20 April 2014.

4.Age :Upto 30 years as on  20  April 2014 .

5. Age Relaxation: As applicable to ex-servicemen only.

6.Educational and other Qualification s:  - (a) Master’s degree of a recognized University in 

Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium of examination at 

the degree level

(OR) Master’s degree of a recognized University in English with Hindi as a compulsory 

or elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level (OR) Master’s 

degree of a

recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with  Hindi medium and 

English as acompulsory or elective subject or as the medium of a examination at the 

 degree level (OR) Master’s Degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, with English medium and Hindi as  a compulsory or elective subject or as the medium 

of a examination at the degree level

(OR)  Master’s degree of a recognized University in any subject other than Hindi or English, 

with Hindi and English as compulsory or elective subjects or either of the two as a medium of 

examination and the other as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.

(AND) (b) Recognized Diploma or Certificate course in translation from Hindi to English & vice versa

(OR)

Three years  experience of translation work from Hindi to English and vice versa in a Central

or State Government office, including  Government of India undertaking.

 

7.The educational qualification documents will be checked prior to the written test. Only those candidates who fulfill the qualitative requirement will be permitted to appear in the written test.

 

8. Date, Time & Place of Written Test: 30 May 2014  , 1000hr at Army Air Defence College

, Gopalpur  .

 

9.  Written Test : To check General knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical ability, Vocabulary and grammar,Comprehension, Drafting skills and Computer awareness.

10.Declaration of Results:  Results of successful candidates in written test will be declared on

 

10June 2014 . The results will be pasted at Army Air Defence College Gate No-  1.

 

11.Interview and Practical Test: Interview of candidates declared successful will be conducted at Headquarters,  Army Air Defence College on 20 June 2014 at 1000hr.

 

12. Final Results  . Final results after conduct of interview will be communicated to the successful candidate by post  and will also be pasted at Gate No  - 1 of Army Air Defence College.

 

Note: Merely fulfilling the basic selection criterion does not automatically entitle to be called for test/interview.
