Filling up of the following posts sanctioned for the notified SEZ for IT/ ITES
under the jurisdiction of Development Commissioner, Special Economic
Zone (IT/ ITES) New Delhi- regarding
It is proposed to fill up the following posts in each of the newly approved Special Economic
Zones for IT/ ITES under the jurisdiction of Office of the Development Commissioner, SEZ
(IT/ITES)-New Delhi on temporary basis for a period of one year on deputation basis as per the
details given below. A panel is also proposed to be prepared for other sanctioned SEZs (IT/
ITES) in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh (UT), Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh and J&K.

The documents required to be submitted along with the application.
i) Complete and upto-date confidential report for the last five years in original or
attested Photostat copy thereof by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary
to the Government of India.
ii) Integrity Certificate.
iii) Vigilance clearance.
iv) Details of minor or major penalties imposed during the last 10 years. (If no penalties
have been imposed, it should be stated.)
4. Application received after the last date or without the confidential reports and other
relevant documents or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered.
5. The appointment will be on transfer on deputation basis. The selected official will have
the option to draw his/ her grade pay or deputation (duty) allowance, in accordance with
Ministry of Finance O. M. No.10/24/E-iii/60 dated 4th May 1961 as amended from time to
time.



Experience and Qualifications for the Posts

Name of the Post : Deputy Commissioner of Customs
Scale of Pay : Rs. 10000-15200
Method of Rectt. : Deputation
Age limit : 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of
applications
Officers of the Central Board of Excise and Customs:-
(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis or
(ii) with five year’s service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a
regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs. 8000-13500 or equivalent in the grade
parent cadre or department; and
(b) possessing 3 years’ experience in Excise or Customs procedural work.
Name of the Post : Superintended of Customs
Scale of Pay : Rs. 7500-12000
Method of Rectt. : Deputation
Age limit : 56 years as on the closing date of the receipt of

Officers of the Central Board of Excise and Customs:-
(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis or
(iii) with three year’s service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a
regular basis in the scale of pay of Rs. 6500-10500 or equivalent and
(b) possessing two year experience in Excise or Customs procedural work.

(ii) with three year’s service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a

(b) possessing two year experience in Excise or Customs procedural work.
