• Skilled Artisan : 180 Vacancies (UR-92, OBC-51, SC-35, ST-2) of Skilled Artisans (Fitter-98, Welder-56, Electrician-6, Material Handling Operaor-11, Instrument Mechanic-3, Mill Wright Mechanic - 3, Electronics Mechanic - 3),

How to apply (Detailed Procedure) :				Top
a. Candidates desirous of applying shall apply online through this website only. The website will be available for the candidates from 09.00 Hrs. on 03.09.2011 to 16.30 Hrs. on 24.09.2011. b. A Non-Refundable Processing Fee of Rs.125/- is payable by the General and OBC candidates. However, SC/ST and Physically Challenged candidates are exempted from paying the Processing fees. Processing fee once paid will not be refunded on any account. c. The fee can be paid in any of the branches of State Bank of India into the ‘Power Jyoti Account No: ‘31170378124’ payable at SBI BHEL Mukundarayapuram Branch, Branch Code: 7013. d. The journal number given by the bank on payment of fee needs to be filled in the on-line application form and BHEL copy of the challan needs to be attached with the Acknowledgment slip and sent to DGM/HR, BHEL,BAP,Ranipet -632406. f. No other mode of payment i.e., Demand Draft, Money Order, Postal Order, Cheque etc., is acceptable g. Please take two copies of the printouts of the acknowledgement slip that will be generated automatically while submitting online application filled in all respects. h. A copy of acknowledgment slip can be retained by the candidate and the other copy of acknowledgement slip after affixing a recent passport size photograph duly signed on it enclosing the following should be sent to DGM /HR, BHEL, Ranipet -632406, Vellore District, Tamilnadu so as to reach us on or before 01.10.2011 . g. Acknowledgement slips received after the last date will not be entertained. BHEL will not be responsible for any postal or any other transit delays.

Selection Process :
The selection process will consist of written test, personal interview, Medical Examination and Certificates Verification. All the eligible candidates will be invited for objective type written test tentatively scheduled to be held on 06.11.2011 at Chennai on their own expense. The question booklet will be available in English, Tamil and Hindi. The written test call letters may be downloaded at http://artrect.bhelrpt.co.in/ from 24.10.2011. No separate intimation will be sent to the candidates by post. On the basis of merit of written marks, candidates shall then be invited for Personal Interview in the ratio of 1:3 to the number of vacancies.
Written test/Interview schedule will be intimated in the written test call letter and the candidates are advised to prepare themselves accordingly
