IN THE ARMY AS RELIGIOUS TEACHER
(RT PANDIT, RT GRANTHI AND RT MAULVI)

LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATION : 06 August 20111 Junior Commissioned Officer for RRT 67 course.

ELIGIBILITY

(a) Must not be below 27 years or over 34 years for civilian candidates and between

25 years to 34 years for remustered candidates

Rallyas on first day of Recruitment.

(b)

(i)

Those who have passed BA with Sanskrit/Hindi as one of the elective (main) subjects but have not done Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi are also eligible.

Educational & Language Qualifications: The Minimum educational qualification for appointment will be graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. In addition they must also possess one of the following qualifications according to the religious denomination of the individuals :-PANDIT : Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi or equivalent standard in the regional language concerned.

Note

qualification for appointment will be as under:-

(a) BA with Sanskrit/Hindi as one of the elective (main) subjects but have not done Madhyama in Sanskrit or Bhushan in Hindi.

OR

(b) Graduation/Post Graduation in Sanskrit from any recognized university of Nepal.

(c) Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university with Madhyama in Sanskrit

or Bhushan in Hindi or equivalent standard in the regional language concerned.

: For Indian domicile Gorkha candidates applying for the post of Pandit the minimum educational qualification for appointment will be same as 2 (b) (i) above. For Nepalese domicile Gorkha candidates applying for the post of Pandit the minimum educational

(ii) GRANTHI

concerned . Those who have passed BA with Punjabi as one of the elective (Main) subject but have not done Vidwan in Punjabi are also eligible.

: The Minimum educational qualification for appointment as Granthi will be graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. In addition candidate must also be qualified as Vidwan in Punjabi or equivalent standard in the Regional Language

(iii) MAULVI

Regional Language concerned . Those who have passed BA with Arabic / Urdu as one of the elective (Main) subject but have not done Maulvi Alim in Urdu / Adam Alim in Urdu are also eligible.

: The Minimum educational qualification for appointment as Maulvi will be graduation in any discipline from a recognised university. In addition candidate must also be qualified as Maulvi Alim in Urdu / Adam Alim in Urdu or equivalent standard in the
