Invites application from candidates for the post of Industrial Workman Grade - I (Trainee) :
Industrial Workman Gr.I (Tranee) :

AGE LIMIT : Between 18 and 27 years as on 1st January 2009
Qualification (As on 1st January 2009) : Diploma in Printing Technology with a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate (a pass in respect of SC/ST candidates) from a Government Recognized Institute / University.
Written Test / Examination will be conducted at the following centres :1) Bangalore 2) Bhopal 3) Bhubaneswar 4) Chennai 5) Guwahati 6) Hyderabad 7) Kolkata, 8) Mumbai9) New Delhi 10) Patna 11) Thiruvananthapuram
Pay Scale : Rs. 7000-24240 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2280, ( The selected candidates will be taken on training initially for one year during which period they will be givenmainly “on-the-job” training. They will be paid a stipend of Rs. 7000/- plus Special Allowance of Rs.1000/-per month. In addition to this, the candidates are also eligible for food vouchers of Rs.1040/- p.m. andTransport allowance of Rs.750/- p.m. as per the rules of the Company. On successful completion of training,the candidates will be placed on probation for a period of one year in the pay scale of Rs. 7000-24240 +Grade Pay of Rs.2280. The period of probation may be extended by a further maximum period of one year atthe discretion of the Company.)
On placement on probation/confirmation, the employees will be eligible for Dearness Allowance and otheradmissible allowances etc., the gross emoluments work out to Rs. 13000/-p.m. approx. and are also eligible for other facilities as applicable to the regular Industrial Workmen staff in Gr-I.
