Technical Training Program (TTP)

Offer of appointment for the period construction phase of ITER (about 10 years) but are likely to continue furthur into the operation phase (20 years)



Discipline :

Physics (Code 10) - M. Sc in Physics / Applied Physics after B. Sc. Degree OR an Integrated M. Sc. B.E. / B.Tech. in Engg. Physics is also eligible, provided it is of minimum of 4 years of curriculum after class XII

Electrical( Code 20) , Mechanical ( Code 60) , Chemical (40) , Metallurgy / Material Science ( 50) , Instrumentation ( 70) -

B.E. / B.Tech. / B. Sc. Engg. ( Provided it is of minimum of 4 years of curriculum after class XII curriculum in the appropriate discipline (Electrical, Mechanical , Chemical , Metallurgy / Material Science , Instrumentation )



Electronics & Communication (Code - 30) - .E. / B.Tech. / B. Sc. Engg. ( Provided it is of minimum of 4 years of curriculum)OR M. Sc (Tech.) in the appropriate discipline after B. Sc.



Appointment & Placement - On Successful completion of training (which is of 1 year duration) trainees will be appointed as Scientist / Engineer SC in the pay band of 15600 -39100 with grade pay of Rs. 5400/-
