Applications are invited from Male and Female Indian citizens for filling up vacancies in the rank of Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer) and Head Constable (Min) in the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade pay of Rs.2800/- & Rs.2400/- respectively in the CISF. The vacancies in each rank and their distribution is given as follows:-

Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) (Stenographer) - 140 Posts (Male/Female)
Head Constable (Ministerial) - 902 Posts (Male/Female)
Educational qualification (Eligibility Criteria ) -
For the Post of ASI/Steno - Intermediate or 10+2 from recognized Board/University
For the Post of Head Constable (Ministerial) - Intermediate or 10+2 from recognized Board/University
Age Limit - Between 18 to 25 years as on 01.08.2011 (For both type of posts ASI/Steno and Head Constable (Ministerial))
Application Fee - FEE: RUPEES FIFTY ONLY (Rs.50/-) Fee is exempted for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation.
