Essential Educational Qualifications :
Ist Class Master's Degree in Botany, or Agriculture from recognized university with specialization in Agricultural Botany or Plant Breeding and Genetics or Agronomy or Seed Technology or Horticulture, Floriculture/Vegetable or Plant Pathology, or Entomology or Nematology, or Plant Physiology or Agricultural Extension, or Agricultural Economics.
Experience : At least 8 years experience ( out of which at least 5 years should in the scale of Rs.10000-325-15200 (CDA)/Rs.10750-300- 16750 (IDA) (pre revised) or Rs 15600 – 39100 + GP 6600(CDA) or 20600 – 46500 (IDA) (revised) in a responsible capacity in work relating to production, marketing, quality control of seeds or other agricultural inputes or in farm management in Govt. Universities/Central/State Govt./ PSUs/Commercial establishment of repute.
Desirable : Ph. D. in Plant Breeding and Genetics or Agronomy or Plant Physiology or Seed technology or Crop Production.
Age : Not exceeding 45 years as on 01.01.2012
Pay scale : Rs.24900-50500(IDA). Total emoluments at the minimum of Basic Pay would be Rs.57,000/- p.m. approx in Delhi.
Fee :
Demand Draft preferably from State Bank of India of Rs.100/- in favour of National Seeds Corporation Limited payable at Delhi.
