1. Scientist : 05 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 6600 (Upper Age - 32 Yrs.)
2. Senior Scientist : 01 Post Pay Scale :  Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 7600 (Upper Age - 37 Yrs.)
3. Principal Scientist  : 01 Post, Pay Scale : Rs. 37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs. 8700 (Upper Age - 45 Yrs.)
4. Principal Technical Officer : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs.37400-67000 + Grade Pay Rs. 8700 (Upper Age - 45 Yrs.)
5. Medical Officer : 02 posts, Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.5400 (Upper Age - 35 Yrs.)
6. Technical Assistant : 03 Posts, Pay Scale :Rs.9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200  (Upper Age - 28 Yrs.)

Application Fee :

Each application should be accompanied by a Single Demand Draft of Rs.100/-  (US $25 for candidates applying from abroad) drawn after the date of publication of advertisement in favour of “Director, Central Leather Research Institute” payable at Chennai from State Bank of India (SBI) with six months validity. The following details must be filled up on backside of Demand Draft:  (i) Candidate’s Name (ii) Post Code Applied.  Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/Physically Handicapped category and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from payment of application fee

Print out of completed applications with recent passport size photograph supported by attested copies of certificates should be sent to the Controller of Administration, Central Leather Research Institute, Sardar Patel Road, Adyar, Chennai- 600020 so as to reach on or before 30/09/2011.

Online application will be available on CLRI website upto 23.09.2011 (5.30 PM) After online submission, candidates should take print out of the computer generated application, sign each page, paste a recent passport size photograph in the space provided and sign in full across the photograph. The same duly accompanied by attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials, re-prints in support of age, qualifications, experience, community and publications along with Demand Draft (wherever applicable) should be sent in an envelope superscribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _______________ (Post Code:________)” to “The Controller of Administration, Central Leather Research Institute, Sardar Patel Road, Adyar, Chennai 600020”. Candidates should specifically note that applications not submitted online in the prescribed form or  incomplete or unsigned or not accompanied with prescribed fee, recent photograph, attested copies of educational certificates, mark sheets, caste certificates, testimonials, etc or received after prescribed closing date for any reason whatsoever (such as envelop wrongly addressed, delivered elsewhere, postal delay, etc) will not be entertained. Any enclosure received separately subsequent to the receipt of application will not be connected therewith.
