1.(Ref. No.F.1/60/2007-R-II) ONE SCIENTIST – SB(ND) IN THE NATIONAL TEST HOUSE, DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, MINISTRY OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, FOOD AND PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION. The post is reserved for OBC candidates. The post is also suitable for Physically Handicapped Persons (viz. Orthopaedically Handicapped with one leg affected). QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : Master’s Degree in Physics(Pure/Applied) or degree in Mechanical/Metallurgical/Electrical Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : 3 years’ practical experience in non-destructive / metallographic techniques as employed in testing/evaluation/failure investigation of materials. DESIRABLE : i) Site in-charge Certificate of Radiation from Bhaba Atomic Research Centre level or I/II/III certificate in one or more of non-destructive testing methods from any recognized Society/Institute. ii) Knowledge of welding technology. DUTIES : Overall in-charge of laboratory, scrutinizing of test requests, allocate the samples to scientific officers/assistants, supervise day –to-day work and sort out technical and administrative problems, checks the draft test certificates and sign the final test certificate on behalf of the director. HQ : Kolkata/Mumbai/Chennai/Jaipur/Guwhati and Ghaziabad.

No.F.1/291/2006-R-IV) TWO SENIOR RESEARCH ASSISTANTS(EARLIER RE-DESIGNATED AS MARKET SURVEILLANCE OFFICER AND NOW RE-DESIGNATED AS ECONOMIC OFFICER) IN THE FORWARD MARKETS COMMISSION, MUMBAI, MINISTRY OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS, FOOD AND PUBLIC DISTRIBUTION, DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS. Of the two posts, one post is reserved for OBC candidates. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL : EDUCATIONAL : i) Master’s degree in Economics / Commerce / Statistics of a recognised University or equivalent. OR Degree in Economics / Commerce / Statistics with degree in Law of a recognised University or equivalent. OR A qualification recognized for enrolment in the register of members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or equivalent; and ii) Possessing two years’ experience in collection, compilation, analysis and interpretation of statistical data. DUTIES : To collect economic intelligence and statistical data for preparing reports, preparation of financial, trading statements in respect of Associations and Exchanges. To inspect markets and examine the working of concerned Associations. Examine proposals received from recognized Associations for amendments to their constitution, bye-laws and trading procedures and to independently suggest modifications considered necessary. HQ : Forward Markets Commission, Mumbai & Regional Office at Kolkata.

3.(Ref. No.F.1/267/2006-R-III) ONE LECTURER(CHINESE) IN SCHOOL OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES, MINISTRY OF DEFENCE. The post is reserved for SC candidates. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : EDUCATIONAL : Master’s degree in the Chinese language from a recognised University or equivalent. DESIRABLE : Experience in teaching or translation from the Chinese language to English/Hindi or vice-versa. DUTIES : To teach the Chinese language to a very high standard including the interpretership standard. HQ : Delhi/New Delhi with all India Service liability.

No.F.1/115/2007-R-I) ONE ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (ENDOCRINOLOGY) AT JIPMER, PUDUCHERRY, MINISTRY OF HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE, DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, SPECIALIST GR-II OF CENTRAL HEALTH SERVICE(TEACHING SPECIALIST SUB-CADRE). QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL: A. EDUCATIONAL : i) A recognized medical qualification included in the First or the Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule(other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of educational qualifications included in Part –II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions stipulated in Sub-section(3) of Section 13 of the IMC Act, 1956. ii) Post- graduate Degree qualification in the concerned super-speciality i.e. D.M.(Endocrinology) or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Three years’ teaching experience as Tutor/Demonstrator/Registrar/Senior Resident in the concerned super-speciality after obtaining the first Post-graduate Degree qualification. NOTE : I : The Medical qualifications possessed by the candidates should have the recognition of the MCI. NOTE : II : In so far as post graduate medical qualifications awarded by Indian Universities are concerned, they should also find a place in the Schedules to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956, as amended from time to time. NOTE : III : Teaching experience in any other post like the posts of General Duty Medical Officer/Medical Officer shall not be considered for eligibility purpose for recruitment to teaching posts. NOTE : IV : In the case of qualification in Super-Speciality(M.Ch/D.M) except in the case of holders of D.M./M.Ch of five years duration, the holders should have obtained M.D.(General Medicine) or M.S.(General Surgery) or an equivalent qualification as prescribed by the said council in its recommendations on Post- graduate medical examination. NOTE : V : In the case of holder of D.M./M.Ch qualification of five years duration, the period of Senior Post - graduate residency rendered in the last part of the said D.M./M.Ch shall be counted towards requirement of experience. DUTIES : To impart theoretical and practical instructions to under graduate/post graduate medical students. To conduct and guide research work in the Speciality. To render patient care in the Speciality. HQ: JIPMER, Puducherry, but liable to serve anywhere in India. ANY OTHER CONDITIONS : (A) Private practice of any kind whatsoever shall not be allowed including any consultation and laboratory practice. (B) The candidates selected shall, if so required, be liable to serve in any Defence Service, or post connected with the Defence of India for a period of not less than four years including the period spent on training, if any, provided that : i) He/she shall not be required to serve as aforesaid. after the expiry of 10 years from the date of appointment to the service or from the date of his/her joining the service. ii)He/she shall not ordinarily be required to serve as aforesaid after obtaining the age of 45 years.

5.(Ref. No.F.1/31/2007-R-VI) ONE DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF MINES SAFETY(MECHANICAL) IN DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF MINES SAFETY, MINISTRY OF LABOUR & EMPLOYMENT. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Ten years’ professional experience in an industrial installation or engineering workshop(including at least two years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering in direct relation to plant and equipment used in mining). DESIRABLE : Post-graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering. DUTIES : To inspect, examine and test mechanical installations in mines such as headgear, haulage, and winding engines, cages, ropes etc and to prepare reports of such inspections.

6.(Ref. No.F.1/22/2007-R-VI) SIX DEPUTY DIRECTORS OF TRAINING(MECHANICAL ENGINEERING) IN THE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING, MINISTRY OF LABOUR & EMPLOYMENT. Out of six posts, two posts are reserved for SC candidates and one post is reserved for OBC candidates. These posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped persons with disability of Orthopaedically Handicapped i.e. Locomotor disability. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : A degree in Mechanical Engineering of a recognised University or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE i) About five years’ experience subsequent to graduation in a supervisory capacity in a workshop or factory or concern of repute engaged in production or in teaching in a recognised Technical Institution. OR About five years’ experience in the specialized trade after graduation. ii) Administrative experience. DESIRABLE : Teaching experience in a recognized Institution. DUTIES : To assist Director of Training/Regional Director of Apprenticeship Training in formulation and implementation of Training Programmes for various categories of Craftsmen/Supervisor/Foremen etc.

7.(Ref. No.F.1/163/2006-R-VI) TWO DEPUTY DIRECTORS OF TRAINING (ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING) IN THE DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING, MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT. Out of the two posts, one post is reserved for OBC candidates. Of the two posts, one post is reserved for Orthopaedically Handicapped person(viz. Locomotor disability) of any community. These posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped persons with disability of Orthopaedically Handicapped i.e. Locomotor disability. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. 9.(Ref. No.F.1/15/2007-R-V) FOUR ASSISTANT DIRECTORS OF TRAINING(ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING), MINISTRY OF LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT UNDER DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING. Out of four posts, one post each is reserved for SC & OBC candidates. These posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped(Orthopaedically Handicapped)persons. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : Degree in Electronics Engineering/Technology, Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Technology, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering/Technology of a recognized University or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Two years’ industrial experience in Electronics. DESIRABLE : i) Experience in a supervisory capacity in a workshop engaged in production or teaching experience in a Technical Institute. ii) Knowledge of preparation of syllabi, teaching aids, training materials etc. DUTIES : To impart training in various aspects of trade skills including the relevant technical theory to trainees who may be skilled workers, supervisor/foremen of the industries.


10.(Ref. No.F.1/16/2007-R-V) THREE ASSISTANT DIRECTORS OF TRAINING(MECHANICAL ENGINEERING), MINISTRY OF LABOUR & EMPLOYMENT UNDER DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING. Out of three posts, one post each is reserved for SC & OBC candidates. Of the three posts, one post is reserved for Physcially Handicapped persons(viz. Orthopaedically Handicapped who can carry out responsibilities attached to the post relating to teaching with the use of required aids) of any community. These posts are also suitable for Physically Handicapped persons with disability of Orthopaedically Handicapped. QUALIFICATIONS: ESSENTIAL: A. EDUCATIONAL : Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology of a recognized University or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Two years’ industrial experience in Metrology & Engineering Inspection, Tool Design, Advanced Tool & Die Making, Advanced Farm Machinery, Advanced Welding, Refrigeration & A/C, Material testing, Machine tool maintenance, CNC, CAD/CAM, Workshop Machinery & equipment. DESIRABLE : QUALIFICATIONS & DUTIES : Same as in Item No. 9 above.

11.(Ref. No. F.1/122/2007-R-I) ONE READER(PAEDIATRICS) IN GOVT. MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL, CHANDIGARH ADMINISTRATION, DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL EDUCATION AND RESEARCH, CHANDIGARH. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956) and they must also be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. ii) M.D.(Paediatrics) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Five years’ teaching experience in the concerned Speciality after acquiring post graduate qualification as Assistant Professor/Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution. DESIRABLE : Minimum four research publications indexed in index Medicus / National Journals. DUTIES : Teaching the Under-graduate (MBBS) and Post-graduate students in the Govt. Medical College, Chandigarh. HQ : Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh.

12.(Ref. No.F.1/257/2006-R-I) ONE SENIOR LECTURER(ANATOMY) IN THE GOVT. MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL, CHANDIGARH, DEPARTMENT OF MEDICAL EDUCATION AND RESEARCH, CHANDIGARH ADMINISTRATION. The post is reserved for OBC candidates. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : A. EDUCATIONAL : A. i) A basic University or equivalent qualification included in any one of the schedules to Indian Medical Council Act, 1956(102 of 1956) and must be registered in a State Medical Register or Indian Medical Register. ii) M.S.(Anatomy)/M.D(Anatomy)/M.B.B.S with M.Sc (Anatomy) from a recognized University / Institution or equivalent. OR B. i) M.Sc(Medical Anatomy) from a recognised University or equivalent and ; ii) Ph.D(Medical Anatomy) / D.Sc (Medical Anatomy) from a recognized University/Institution or equivalent. B. EXPERIENCE : Three years’ teaching experience in the concerned speciality after acquiring post graduate qualification as Lecturer/Registrar/Senior Resident/Demonstrator/Tutor in a recognized Medical College/Teaching Institution. NOTE : I TO III : Same as in Item No. 4 above. DUTIES : Teaching the Under-graduate (MBBS) and Post-graduate students in the Govt. Medical College, Chandigarh & providing other clinical services in the attached teaching hospital. HQ : Govt. Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh. ANY OTHER CONDITION : Private practice of any kind whatsoever shall not be allowed.

13.(Ref. No.F.1/300/2006-R-I) TEN VETERINARY ASSISTANT SURGEONS, GOVERNMENT OF PUDUCHERRY, DEPARTMENT OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT (ANIMAL HUSBANDRY). Out of ten posts, one post is reserved for SC candidates and seven posts are reserved for OBC candidates. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL : EDUCATIONAL : i) A recognised Veterinary qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984(Number 52 of 1984). ii) Should be registered with the State Veterinary Council or Indian Veterinary Council. DUTIES : As Veterinary Asstt. Surgeons they will have to run Veterinary Hospital, Veterinary dispensaries poultry farms etc. with special emphasis on Veterinary Health coverage.
