DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF MINES SAFETY(MECHANICAL) IN DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF MINES SAFETY, MINISTRY OF LABOUR & EMPLOYMENT
. QUALIFICATIONS : ESSENTIAL :
A. EDUCATIONAL : Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent.
B. EXPERIENCE : Ten years’ professional experience in an industrial installation or engineering workshop(including at least two years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering in direct relation to plant and equipment used in mining).
DESIRABLE : Post-graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.
DUTIES : To inspect, examine and test mechanical installations in mines such as headgear, haulage, and winding engines, cages, ropes etc and to prepare reports of such inspections.
PAY SCALE: Rs.12000-375-16500(T.E.Rs.24,300)Group ‘A’ Gazetted.
AGE LIMIT: Not exceeding 40 years for the posts

Recruitment of one post of Lecturer in Pharmacy in Govt. Polytechnic for Women, Chandigarh Administration, Chandigarh. (Reference UPSC Advertisement No.20, Item No.7 published in various leading Newspapers/Employment News on 28-10-2006).
It is notified for general information that the recruitment to the said post has been cancelled.

PROBATION: The persons selected will be appointed on probation as per rule
